REGOLAMENTO
Art. 01
Il concorso è articolato in due fasi. Prevede una Selezione online, e le Finali in presenza che avranno luogo il giorno 2 ottobre 2025, mattina, presso la sede del Centro Studi Musica & Arte, Impresa sociale. Le iscrizioni e l’invio del materiale video, affinché sia ritenuta valida, è da effettuarsi entro e non oltre il giorno 15 settembre 2025. L’elenco dei candidati ammessi alla Prova Finale sarà pubblicato sul sito del Florence Guitar Festival, entro il 22 settembre 2025; i candidati ammessi saranno contatti per e-mail.
Nella prova finale i candidati sono tenuti ad eseguire lo stesso programma presentato nel video.
Art. 2
La manifestazione è aperta a musicisti italiani e stranieri. Gli assegnatari di primo premio assoluto in edizioni precedenti del concorso non possono partecipare nella stessa categoria, ma è comunque consentito, qualora se ne soddisfino i requisiti di partecipazione, di concorrere in categorie differenti.
Art. 3
Il Concorso prevede le seguenti Categorie:
Cat A: solisti, di età inferiore ai 13 anni;
Cat B: solisti, di età fra i 14 e i 17 anni;
Cat C: solisti maggiorenni, senza limiti di età;
Cat D: ensemble con chitarra, con età media inferiore ai 19 anni;
Cat E: ensemble con chitarra, senza limiti di età.
Art. 4
È consentita la partecipazione a più categorie, fermo restando il rispetto dei requisiti delle singole categorie.
Art. 5
I candidati sono tenuti ad inviare un link Youtube, caricato come “Non in elenco” al video dell’esecuzione, o analoga piattaforma in internet. Il video deve essere registrato con camera fissa e non deve essere editato e riportare tagli o modifiche di alcun genere.
Art. 6
Le iscrizioni si chiuderanno il 15 settembre 2025 alle ore 23:59. Per informazioni e chiarimenti è possibile contattare la segreteria del festival via e-mail info@florenceguitarfestival.it. Tutte le informazioni utili possono essere consultate sul sito internet www.florenceguitarfestival.it.
Art. 7
L’iscrizione al concorso comporta l’accettazione incondizionata del presente regolamento e delle sue eventuali modifiche approvate dalla direzione artistica e organizzativa.
Art. 8
La commissione giudicatrice è composta da musicisti attivi sia in campo didattico sia artistico ed in particolare da: Ganesh Del Vescovo, Vincenzo Saldarelli, Giorgio Albiani, Erika Baldi e Stefania Di Blasio. Nel caso in cui uno dei membri della commissione avesse avuto contatti didattici con i concorrenti, esso dovrà obbligatoriamente astenersi dalla votazione. In nessun caso potranno concorrere persone che abbiano rapporti di parentela con i commissari.
Art. 9
Il giudizio della Commissione è inappellabile e insindacabile, e sarà espresso mediante votazione da 1 a 100. I risultati, pubblicati sul sito, non riporteranno i punteggi inferiori a 84/100.
Il giudizio della commissione in centesimi è il risultato della media ottenuta, assegnando il premio come segue:
da 98 a 100 centesimi: Primo Premio Assoluto;
da 95 a 97 centesimi: Primo Premio (Diploma di 1° Premio);
da 90 a 94 centesimi: Secondo Premio (Diploma di 2° Premio);
da 85 a 89 centesimi: Terzo Premio (Diploma di 3° Premio).
Art. 10
I vincitori di ciascuna categoria si esibiranno in una breve esecuzione in apertura dei concerti nell’edizione del Florence Guitar Festival 2025. I concerti premio delle Categorie C ed E si terranno nel corso dell’edizione successiva a quella in cui sono stati assegnati i premi.
Art. 11
Il programma per ciascuna categoria è libero nella scelta del repertorio, restando entro i limiti delle durate massime stabilite per categoria. Le Durate massime fissate sono:
- Cat. A: massimo 08 minuti di musica.
- Cat. B: massimo 12 minuti di musica.
- Cat. C: massimo 15 minuti di musica.
- Cat D: massimo 10 minuti di musica.
- Cat E: massimo 15 minuti di musica.
Art. 12
Le Quote di iscrizione e partecipazione, non rimborsabili, al International Florence Guitar Competition “Alvaro Company” 2025 variano di categoria in categoria ed ammontano a:
- Cat. A: Euro 40,00 (EUR quaranta/00);
- Cat B: Euro 50,00 (EUR cinquanta/00);
- Cat C: Euro 70,00 (EUR settanta/00);
- Cat. D: Euro 25,00 (EUR venticinque/00) per ciascun membro del gruppo;
- Cat. E: Euro 40,00 (EUR quaranta/00) per ciascun membro del ensemble.
Le quote possono essere versare con bonifico bancario. Le quote di iscrizione non sono rimborsabili, e tutte le spese bancarie sono a carico di chi esegue il bonifico. Art. 13
Modalità d’Iscrizione. I candidati dovranno inviare, entro e non oltre il 15 settembre 2025 tramite e-mail a info@florenceguitarfestival.it, la Scheda di Iscrizione, debitamente compilata e firmata, indicando il link al video nel corpo della mail.
Alla domanda dovranno essere allegati i seguenti documenti:
Copia fronte-retro della carta d’identità o passaporto
Ricevuta di versamento della quota di iscrizione effettuata a mezzo bonifico bancario
Art. 14
Premi. A tutti gli iscritti sarà consegnato un attestato di partecipazione. I concerti premio saranno svolti a titolo totalmente gratuito durante il Florence Guitar Festival 2025 o nel 2026. Agli assegnatari di Primo Premio Assoluto di ogni categoria verrà corrisposto il seguente premio:
- Cat A: €250,00 (EUR duecentocinquanta/00)
- Cat B: €350 (EUR trecentocinquanta/00) + 1 concerto
- Cat C: €600,00 (EUR seicento/00) + 1 concerto premio da eseguirsi nell’edizione successiva del festival
- Cat D: €250,00 (EUR duecentocinquanta/00) + 1 concerto
- Cat E: €600,00 (EUR seicento/00) + 1 concerto premio da eseguirsi nell’edizione successiva del festival
Art. 15
PREMIAZIONE
I risultati del International Florence Guitar Competition “Alvaro Company” saranno pubblicati sul sito www.florenceguitarfestival.it, e la premiazione avverrà al termine delle fasi Finali del concorso, il 2 ottobre 2025.

COMPETITION RULES
Art. 01
The competition is divided into two stages. It includes an online selection and the live finals, which will take place on the morning of 2 October 2025 at the headquarters of the Centro Studi Musica & Arte, Impresa sociale. Registrations and the submission of video material must be made no later than 15 September 2025 in order to be considered valid. The list of candidates admitted to the Final Round will be published on the Florence Guitar Festival website by 22 September 2025; admitted candidates will be contacted by email.
Art. 2
The event is open to Italian and foreign musicians. Winners of the first prize in previous editions of the competition cannot participate in the same category but are still allowed to compete in different categories if they meet the participation requirements.
Art. 3
The competition includes the following categories:
Cat A: soloists under the age of 13;
Cat B: soloists aged between 14 and 17;
Cat C: soloists over the age of 18, with no age limit;
Cat D: guitar ensembles, with an average age of under 19;
Cat E: guitar ensembles, with no age limit.
Art. 4
Participation in multiple categories is permitted, provided that the requirements of each category are met.
Art. 5
Candidates are required to send a YouTube link, uploaded as ‘Unlisted,’ to the video of their performance, or a similar internet platform. The video must be recorded with a fixed camera and must not be edited or contain cuts or modifications of any kind.
Art. 6
Registration will close on 15 September 2025 at 11:59 p.m. For further information and clarification, please contact the festival secretariat by email at info@florenceguitarfestival.it. All useful information can be found on the website www.florenceguitarfestival.it.
Art. 7
Registration for the competition implies unconditional acceptance of these rules and any amendments approved by the artistic and organisational management.
Art. 8
The judging panel consists of musicians who are active in both teaching and performing, and in particular: Ganesh Del Vescovo, Vincenzo Saldarelli, Giorgio Albiani, Erika Baldi and Stefania Di Blasio. Should any member of the panel have had teaching contact with any of the competitors, they must abstain from voting. Under no circumstances may persons who are related to members of the panel compete.
Art. 9
The Commission's decision is final and cannot be appealed and will be expressed by a vote from 1 to 100. The results, published on the website, will not show scores lower than 84/100.
The Commission's score out of 100 is the average obtained, with the prize awarded as follows:
from 98 to 100 points: First Prize;
from 95 to 97 points: First Prize (1st Prize Diploma);
from 90 to 94 cents: Second Prize (2nd Prize Diploma);
from 85 to 89 cents: Third Prize (3rd Prize Diploma).
Art. 10
The winners of each category will perform a short piece at the opening of the concerts in the 2025 edition of the Florence Guitar Festival. The prize concerts for Categories C and E will be held during the edition following the one in which the prizes were awarded.
Art. 11
The programme for each category is free in terms of repertoire, within the maximum time limits established for each category. The maximum time limits are as follows:
Cat. A: maximum 8 minutes of music.
Cat. B: maximum 12 minutes of music.
Cat. C: maximum 15 minutes of music.
Cat D: maximum 10 minutes of music.
Cat E: maximum 15 minutes of music.
Art. 12
The non-refundable registration and participation fees for the 2025 Alvaro Company International Florence Guitar Competition vary according to category and are as follows:
Cat. A: €40,00 (forty/00 EUR);
Cat B: €50,00 (fifty/00 EUR);
Cat C: Euro 70,00 (seventy/00 EUR);
Cat. D: Euro 25,00 (twentyfive/00 EUR) for each member of the group;
Cat. E: Euro 40,00 (forty/00 EUR) for each member of the ensemble.
Fees can be paid by bank transfer. Registration fees are non-refundable, and all bank charges are payable by the person making the transfer. Registration fees are non-refundable. Art. 13
HOW TO APPLY. Candidates must send the registration form, duly completed and signed, by 15 September 2025 at the latest, by email to info@florenceguitarfestival.it, indicating the link to the video in the body of the email.
The following documents must be attached to the application:
Front and back copy of identity card or passport
Receipt of payment of the registration fee made by bank transfer
Art. 14
AWARDS. All participants will receive a certificate of participation. The award concerts will be held free of charge during the Florence Guitar Festival 2025 or in 2026. The winners of the First Prize in each category will receive the following prize:
Cat A: €250,00 (two hundred and fifty euros)
Cat B: €350,00 (three hundred and fifty euros) + 1 concert
Cat C: €600,00 (six hundred euros) + 1 prize concert to be performed in the next edition of the festival
Cat D: €250,00 (two hundred and fifty euros) + 1 concert
Cat E: €600,00 (six hundred euros) + 1 prize concert to be performed in the next edition of the festival
Art. 15
AWARD CEREMONY
The results of the International Florence Guitar Competition “Alvaro Company” will be published on the website www.florenceguitarfestival.it, and the award ceremony will take place at the end of the Final stages of the competition, on 2 October 2025.
